"Adventure Begins at Your Library" Summer Library Program
Get your Summer Library Program bag starting Saturday, June 1! We’ll have bags available for children from birth – 5th grade, students in 6th – 12th grade, and adults. Readers of all ages, including babies and adults, can join our Beanstack Summer Reading Challenge beginning June 1. Just download the Beanstack app, or visit our Beanstack website.
The Friends of the Black Earth Library will donate $1 to a library project for every Activity Log finished and every Beanstack Badge earned. You can vote for the library project that you'd like the donations to support. Vote here! Plus there will be Grand Prize Drawings for kids, teens, and adults at the end of the program.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten on Beanstack
To get signed up for our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Club, just visit Beanstack website or download the Beanstack app. All children from birth until the start of Kindergarten are welcome to join. The goal is to encourage you to read 1000 books with your child before the start of school. Not only does this provide a solid reading foundation, and encourage school success, but it’s also a lot of fun! When you’ve finished the program, your child will earn a free book and book bag. (Note: If you have already started this program on paper, feel free to continue on paper or transfer to Beanstack.)
